Breast Cancer Prevention

The best defense is a good offence.

What can you do to prevent cancer from occurring or recurring?

There are several widely accepted non-medically related strategies, which have been shown to decrease the risk of cancer formation and cancer recurrence.

They are dietary modification, exercise, and targeted nutritional supplements.

It may seem easier to be given a pill to do the job, but a health body requires some intensive work.

Common sense changes: Eliminate habits that promote the production of free radicals such as smoking and excessive drinking.

Alcohol is considered a carcinogen for the development of breast cancer. The risk is directly related to the amount of alcohol consumed. Women who drink 3 alcoholic beverages per day increase their risk by approximately 38%. One drink per day increases the risk by 6 %. It is not entirely clear how they are interrelated, but since alcohol is modifiable it deserves attention.
