Stacey Simcik is a breast cancer survivor who was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer in May of 2005 at age 46. During her breast cancer journey, she realized how important it is to heal the body, mind and spirit. She has been in integral part of planning the HCF’s Fashion Event: Design for Healing. Stacey’s passion for helping women heal during their breast cancer journey also led her to spearhead the Bucks County Breast Friends Support Group which started in 2007 with just a few women. Today, the Bucks County Breast Friends has over 250 breast cancer survivors who meet once a month at DSI of Bucks County to discuss their feelings and experiences and journey of breast cancer. They laugh, they cry, and most importantly, they share with no judgment in a loving, nurturing, and caring environment. Stacey and husband Tom are the proud parents of 4 children, all of whom were very instrumental in her cancer treatment and recovery. She currently lives in Newtown, PA.
