Stacy KrisherStacy Krisher, MD, FACS, ABIHM

Dr. Stacy Krisher returned to her hometown in August 2001, to begin a successful surgical practice. She provided a broad range of general surgical care, however, due to the growing need for advanced breast care in the Bucks County area, she decided to focus her expertise on diseases of the breast. She strives to provide the best, most advanced care for her patients in a timely and compassionate manner. The office contains all of the state-of-the-art equipment necessary to make that care possible while maintaining a comforting atmosphere and the staff focuses on providing a warm and supporting environment.

Dr. Krisher grew up in the Bucks County area and is a graduate of Council Rock High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M University and a Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at Maine Medical Center in 2001, after which she returned home to start her practice. She is board certified in General Surgery and is a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons. She is certified by The American Society of Breast Surgeons in Breast Ultrasound.

Along with a busy surgical practice, Dr. Krisher finds time to participate in several community service activities and works as a consultant for Ethicon Breast Care. She has had the honor of providing educational activities on breast care and breast disease to the public and is available for additional speaking engagements. More recently, she became involved with the Komen Breast Cancer 3-day walk. Both she and Dr. DuPree were active in providing medical services throughout the walk from 2005 through 2008 and had the honor of seeing many of their very own patients and friends participate in the walk. It was a heart moving experience and they look forward to continued involvement in future years.

Soon after moving back to Bucks County, Dr. Krisher met her husband Dominic. He is an art director for a medical communications firm and also performs freelance graphic design for various companies. He designed the cover of Dr. DuPree’s book and many other creative designs to showcase their practice. They became the proud parents to their twins Dominic and Eva in March 2008. They have an active family life and occasionally find some time to participate in their favorite hobbies, including gardening, hiking and skiing.
